Everything great but not personal item size on some Airlines
"I love forge 20. You have to like fidgety things because there are lots of straps and zippers. But I like that. One problem. I bought it as personal item bag to go with my carry on. For some airlines (like United) the limit is 17x10x9. This bag’s dimension is 18x12x9. Maybe no one will notice the difference. But there is enough inherent travel stress to be sweating over that. I found a small baggage strap that I can wrap around the 18” dimension and can cinch out that inch. And if you do not overpack the bag and cinch down on all the top and bottom straps you can get that down to 10”. I think BE should change the design or have a note about which airlines this will/will not work on for carryon personal itemw. But I got them bag to work for me."
Great backpack, but may be I should have taken the classical FORGE.
"Superb quality of the backpack, I really do like it a lot. I was still been using the BlackEmber backpack from the Kickstarter campaign in 2015 (?) and switched to the FORGE-20 for daily use with notebook and stuff. The quality really is outstanding, everything‘s nicely crafted and well thought out. But it might have been better to have so more space in the FORGE-20 for non-laptop things. Nevertheless i like using it a lot - for the rare case I‘d need more room, I still have the Kickstarter one! Keep on doing these great work, the stuff is really awesome and worth it!"

"I love this everyday pack as a convertible briefcase, which is how I use it most of the time. It's about 5 liters too small to carry the extra change of clothes I need for an overnighter. That would make it perfect."

"This bag perfectly changes from backpack to a crossbody or a briefcase. I am aware that some customers say it’s not easy to switch; however, that’s lack of planning… you plan your day or weeken before you leave home. You may leave the hose with a backpack and change it in the office or hotel. Folks, this back will last you a lifetime. I have a peak Design as well. They each serve different purpose. My husband travels often to train at May startups… during trading and interviews, he uses this back… everyday commute in between trains he uses his PD. I’m impressed!"
